10. Thunderbox Toilet Toilet facilities are provided for each site. Far from the site, a hole has been dug and a wooden box put over top. Thus, the name "thunderbox". Before setting up your tent at a new site, check the thunderbox to make sure it is in "working order". Sometimes it takes a while to locate it. Skills acquired over time include using the thunderbox under a poncho during a downpour.
