1. Arriving at Algonquin Park

The average visitor to Algonquin Park arrives by Highway 60. This structure is the West Gate information office as it appeared in the early 1990's. It has since been modernized and upgraded. Helpful staff and an ample selection of informative publications are good reasons to stop, stretch one's legs and check in.

If permits are not being obtained from a campground or interior access point, then a day-use vehicle permit must be purchased here.
