Campsite Location

West side of lake. Across the small bay, SSE of the portage to Manitou.

Landing

Topography of under-water approach: No issues.

Impediments to disembarking from and/or unloading a canoe: Narrow landing area but extends the length of the site.

Topography leading to tent sites: Small sandy climb less than 1m.

Campsite

Regular or low-maintenance: Regular.

Size of open ground area: 10m x 15m.

Extent of tree cover: Older growth trees with plenty of space between.

Degree of levelness: Flat once away from the water.

Number of tent sites: Multiple.

Facing east a good view, but trees offer solid protection from the weather.

General description: Lots of room around old growth near the water. Thicker woods further back. Fire pit was okay.

Overall accessibility: Good.
