Tanamakoon Lake Campsite #2

Landing

Topography of under-water approach: Narrow slot of shallow rocks and sand between larger rocks.

Impediments to disembarking from and/or unloading a canoe: Best to get canoe out as soon as unloaded, to avoid it bouncing against rocks if waves are present.

Topography to tent sites: Only a slight grade up to firepit area.

Campsite is effectively on an island, with open bay on west (left) side and marsh wrapping around on north and east sides ...

General description: Orientated southwest across lake, it's partially open to breezes from the west and south. However, the marshy area to the north and east could prove "buggy" in the summer. There's only one small rock by the landing for mid-day "sunning".

Overall accessibility: Good.
