The sand beach landing is north of the tentsites ... Park staff coming ashore at the landing (photo by Bill Warren) ... Campsite Campsite maintenance: regular Size of open area: Large open flat area is partly under pine trees and partly without tree cover. Extent of tree cover: 50%. Degree of levelness: All on one flat level. Number of level tent sites: Room for plenty of tents. North exposure: Pines block the view and most of the wind. East exposure: Forest. South exposure: Trees and bushes block some of the view and wind. West exposure: Open to view and weather. Looking north across firepit to tentsites ... Looking south from tentsites and across firepit ... Panorama looking southwest through tentsites and firepit area ... To the northeast in the forest is another flat area with more possible tentsites ... General description: This campsite has a great view and sandy beach. However, it would benefit from protective tarps if weather blows in from the west. Also, there's a logging dorm-camp and a truck road located a short distance to the east, so some sounds could carry over. Overall accessibility: This campsite is quite accessible.
