Landing Topography of under-water approach: Easy sandy bottom for several feet before getting deep. Impediments to disembarking from and/or unloading a canoe: Step-up from the bay. Topography leading to tent sites: Campsite is at a slightly higher elevation than the landing.
Campsite Regular or low-maintenance: Regular Size of open ground area: 35 x 35 feet. Extent of tree cover: None over tentsites (hardwoods behind the campsite). Degree of levelness: Level. Number of tent sites: 2 tent sites.
North exposure: Not open. East exposure: Mostly open exposure. South exposure: Slightly open exposure. West exposure: Not open. Overall accessibility: Easy. Note: "Moose Beach" area is approximately 50 feet wide. It is shallow for children to swim in. It has 12 to 15 feet of shallows (1 to 2 foot deep) before getting deeper.
