![]() Landing Topography of under-water approach: Under water is soft swampy mud. Impediments to disembarking from and/or unloading a canoe: There is room for a few canoes/kayaks.. Topography leading to tent sites: Landing is a large grassy shore. View from the campsite and canoe landing ... Campsite Regular or low-maintenance: Regular.. Size of open ground area: Smaller campsite that is sloped, very rocky with deadfall found all over the campsite. Extent of tree cover: Most of tree cover is made up of small pine trees. Campsite would not be protected from southerly winds. Degree of levelness: Entire campsite is sloped and littered with downed trees. Topography to tent sites: Could not find any actual tent site. Could not find any place to setup a tent. It was difficult to find two trees to hang a hammock. Many of the trees were to small or to close together to hang a hammock. Number of level tent sites: 0. Small firepit and seating area, with no problem finding firewood ... Looking east toward the firepit ... Overall accessibility: Had to climb over deadfall to get to the thunderbox which is behind the campsite in thick bush.
