Landing

Topography of under-water approach: Gravel beach.

Impediments to disembarking from and/or unloading a canoe: None. Landing can be made anywhere along front of campsite. However, haulage to the site can only be done at the south side of the landing, or at a smaller landing area at the north of beach.

Topography to tent sites: A steep rise of approx. 2 meters.

There is a 2nd landing (not shown) further to the north.

Campsite

Campsite maintenance: Regular.

Size of open area: 10m x 10m.

Extent of tree cover: 70%.

Degree of levelness: Very level.

Number of level tent sites: 3+.

North exposure: Trees.

East exposure: Trees.

South exposure: Trees.

West exposure: View of lake.

General description: Very flat and level site. A nice firepit that is open to wind from the west. A well protected site that feels quite "open" because of the mature stand of pines it is located in. Can accommodate 3 tents easily.

Overall accessibility: Other than a steep rise from the water to the site proper, no accessibility issues.

Firepit has excellent view of the lake.
