Impediments to disembarking from and/or unloading a canoe: None. There is a landing approximately 20m to the east that is used as a boat landing. Not recommended to be used as a take-out. There is a narrow, and restrictive path that leads to the portage trail, that makes it difficult to carry a canoe. Topography of the ascending grade: A narrow, somewhat steep path with rocky, rooty sections. Impediments to moving gear to portage trail: The smallish landing area is the staging area. Large items (canoes) should be moved first when numerous portagers are present.
