Algonquin Map Discrepancy Submission Form

The ABR asks recreationalists to submit instances of errors, discrepancies or inconsistencies they experience between their own observations and what appears on the Friends of Algonquin Park official Canoe Route Map, Jeff McMurtrie's Algonquin Provincial Park Map or Backroad Mapbooks Algonquin Park Recreation Map. The ABR will forward submissions on to the involved map-maker(s) and compile an online record of the submissions and their outcomes (revisions, corrections, updates, etc.), for viewing on the ABR website in order to keep its readers informed.

If a submission's details are inadequate, effort will be made to contact the author toward gaining adequate detail. Accordingly, submissions should include full contact information. However, the ABR's online submission records will only include initials, municipality and province/state. Address, email and phone number information will be included on confidential records and will be forwarded to the appropriate mapmaker.

Please submit the following information in documenting instances of errors, discrepancies or inconsistencies experienced between field observations and what appears on the Friends of Algonquin Park official Canoe Routes Map, Jeff McMurtrie's Algonquin Provincial Park Map or Backroad Mapbooks' Algonquin Provincial Park Recreation Map. Either email a filled-out copy of this document file or “copy-paste” the following items directly into the email text.
