Johanna Wandel is a "well-adventured" young lady. Her Yurt Weekend 2003 is a detailed insight into the experience of staying for a winter weekend at one of Mew Lake's reknowned "Yurts" and sampling the area's outdoor activities. "The park provides beds, tables, chairs, a heater, a light, and an outlet. This of course didn't stop us from bringing piles and piles of gear (when you bring a mountain of gear, it's only considered overpacking if you don't use it.
