Algonquin Outfitters Photo Contest

(co-hosted by Algonquin Adventures)

The contest ran from Nov 15th 2008 to Jan 15th 2009. 

This was Algonquin Outfitters' third photo contest of 2008, featuring ... "Wildlife and People", this time co-hosted by "Algonquin Adventures". Bonus points were awarded if photos also included people watching the wildlife. Results were announced February 11th, 2009.

1st Prize ... "Taxi - Mom"   by Peter Ferguson (Fonthill)


2nd Prize ... "Otter Couple"   by Andrew Dean (Waterloo)


3rd Prize ... "Martin on Leaf Lake Trail"   by Steve Elms (Waterdown)

PRIZES:

1st place:
A two day Chris Gilmour's Earth Mentorship Program "Tracking and Ecology for Photographer" to be held on the west side of the park during the summer of 2009. Plus stay at the Wolf Den Bunkhouse and Education Centre during this program for two nights. Package value $180

2nd place:
