Brandon Peek has added a trip-log to his TOURduPARK.com website. TR 17 "The Barron Canyon to Greenleaf Lake" describes his spring-time 8-day solo canoe trip out of Achray .. downstream to the Barron Canyon and then back upstream to Greenleaf Lake. Brandon's writing style is very frank, sharing his experience in a very generous and introspective way.

"Then out of the bush, not more than 15 feet in front of me, the beast skids to a stop. It was the largest eastern grey wolf I have ever seen, aside from television. There was nothing between us. I do not think he was expecting to run into me, judging by the way he skidded to a stop upon seeing me. I still had my knife in my hand from carving my name, and I had a death grip on it. We stared at each other."

Joe Zaleski (aka PaPaddler) has submitted a trip-log of his September 2013 – Brent Loop, which he and his wife completed a 5-day 76 kilometer canoe trip out of the Brent Access Point, via Cedar, Petawawa, Catfish, Narrowbag, Perley, Burntroot, Robinson, Whiskey Jack, Nipissing, and back to Cedar.

.."In short order we made it through to the longest portage of the trip and one with the greatest elevation change as well – the 2345 meter with nearly a 60 meter elevation gain by the halfway point. We attempted to single carry but as we hit the incline of the steepest section I was forced to drop my heavy pack and only take the canoe to the top of the hill."
