Landing

Topography of under-water approach: : Flat sandy bottom.

Impediments to disembarking from and/or unloading a canoe: : Stand in knee deep water, or balance on the rocky shoreline. Gear needs to be placed as far away from water as possible to avoid it falling back into the water.

Topography to tent sites: Short carry up (1.5m) over rocks, roots, and around trees.

There isn't a real landing for this site!.

Campsite

Campsite maintenance: Regular

Open ground area: 8m x 6m.

Extent of tree cover: 95% .

Degree of levelness: Relatively flat and level.

Number of level tent sites: 3 (2-person).

North exposure: View of lake thru trees.

East exposure: trees.

South exposure: trees.

West exposure: trees.

General description: A small, flat, and level site. It has a nice firepit with solid seating. Not much sun can reach the site because of the trees. 3 tentpads can accomodate 2-person tents, a 3-person tent may not fit on any of the pads.

Overall accessibility: There is no landing! You can hold onto trees to enter or exit your canoe, but loading/unloading must be done with care.
