Landing

Topography of under-water approach: Sandy beach to the south and a sand-and-gravel beach to the north.

Impediments to disembarking from and/or unloading a canoe: This campsite is on a small point with a beach approach on both sides.

Topography to tent sites: Very short low grade.

Campsite

Campsite maintenance: regular

Size of open area: Somewhat open over the firepit area, which is only sheltered from the lake by a line of bushes. The tentsites are covered by pines, but are open to winds off the lake.

Extent of tree cover: 75%.

Degree of levelness: Level, with a moderate grade inland.

Number of level tent sites: Room for 3 tents.

North exposure: View north up the lake and exposed to wind.

East exposure: Forest.

South exposure: Trees and bushes block most of the view and wind, unless one steps out onto the beach.

West exposure: Line of bushes blocks the view and some of the wind, unless one steps out onto the beach.

General description: This campsite has a great view, a smooth shoreline and is quite open to the breezes off the lake. Its north beach offeres a great views and beach walk.

Overall accessibility: This campsite's accessibility is easy.
