General description: This is likely a travel-through site for a one-night stay on your way up or down the river and is quite suitable for that. The view is attractive, but not breathtaking. And, the setting is quite serene. It is a simple, compact site with everything, including the thunderbox, within sight. We had to go east through a short trail to find a tree suitable for hanging food bags but, other than that, everything is at hand. It is not a great site for a large group - the landing area is small and the fire pit is also. But at the end of a long day, this will do fine to lay down a bag and curl up for an evening.

Overall accessibility: Average - steep hill makes it a little more difficult than most.
