Landing

Topography of under-water approach: Shallow gravel with a few small rocks.

Impediments to disembarking from and/or unloading a canoe: No obstructions at the landing, but a wet step-out required.

Topography to tent sites: 7-8 foot moderate rocky rise.

First of two tentsites is a short distance from the firepit ...

Second tentsites is much closer to the firepit ...

Campsite maintenance: regular.

Size of open area: 25' x 30'.

Extent of tree cover: three quarters canopied.

Degree of levelness: 35% flat terrain within open area.

Number of level tent sites: Two.

North exposure: Protected from north wind by forest.

East exposure: Protected from much of the eastern wind by forest.

South exposure: Open to the south wind.

West exposure: Protected from much of the western wind by forest.

General description: Small site, with no view of sunrise or sunset. Not being on a point could mean it gets buggy.

Overall accessibility: Generally OK accessibility, aside from short rocky rise from the water.
