Lower Loader Lake Campsite #1

Note: The site is on a peninsula and the other side of the bay can be seen through the trees looking southeast.

Landing

Topography of under-water approach: Easy sandy landing.

Impediments to disembarking from and/or unloading a canoe: None.

Topography leading to tent sites: Trail follows gradual elevation to the firepit.

Campsite

Regular or low-maintenance: Low.

Size of open ground area: Small.

Extent of tree cover: Intermediate tree coverage.

Degree of levelness: Quite level.

Number of tent sites: 1.

North exposure: Shoreline.

East exposure: There is a bog just 30 meters away. This could be a nightmare site in the summer.

South exposure: Shoreline.

West exposure: Lake channel.

General description: Small, low maintenance site. Overall, quite cosy with an easy landing. Site backs onto a bog, I suspect this could be a very buggy site in the summer.

Overall accessibility: Good.
