Landing

Topography of under-water approach: Small sand beach.

Impediments to disembarking from and/or unloading a canoe: None.

Topography to tent sites: Steep eroded sand rise.

Small sand beach slopes into the water.

The firepit is centrally located in the campsite and tentsites are spread inland.

Campsite

Campsite maintenance: Regular.

Size of open area: 80' x 50' open area at the top of the rise.

Extent of tree cover: Pine canopy over the campsite. Open to breeze at ground level.

Degree of levelness: Above the landing, it's quite level.

Number of level tent sites: At least 5 or 6.

North exposure: Some trees.

East exposure: Trees.

South exposure: Some tees.

West exposure: Trees and shrubs break the view of the lake.

General description: One of five campsites that were originally the shoreline part of an old drive-in campground. This campsite more-or-less runs into the adjacent campsites.

Overall accessibility: Once past the rise from the landing, it is level.
