Landing

Topography of under-water approach: Sand and gravel beach.

Impediments to disembarking from and/or unloading a canoe: None.

Topography to tent sites: Eroded sand and gravel rise.

Eroded sand and fine gravel landing.

An eroded sandy slope ascends to the actual campsite.

Campsite

Campsite maintenance: Regular.

Size of open area: Under a high evergreen canopy, is a large open area approximately 25' x 80'.

Extent of tree cover: A high evergreen canopy covers the entire campsite.

Degree of levelness: The tentsites and firepit area are on a long level area.

Number of level tent sites: 1 small one south of the firepit and at least 3 larger ones north of it.

North exposure: Trees.

East exposure: Trees.

South exposure: Trees.

West exposure: Some shrubs and small trees break the view of the lake.

General description: Wide and level campsite with a tree-filtered sunset view.

Overall accessibility: Once one makes the eroded sandy slope up from the landing to the campsite, everything is on one level.

Looking north across one small tentsite, the firepit and numerous tentsites beyond.

Tentsite immediately north of the firepit.

An additional tentsite area is further north.

The view is westward, providing afternoon and evening sun.
