Landing

Topography of under-water approach: Very small gravel beach.

Impediments to disembarking from and/or unloading a canoe: Very narrow opening in the shoreline vegetation.

Topography to tent sites: Just a couple of "root-steps".

Campsite maintenance: Regular.

Size of open area: 40' x 40' area with overhead tree canopy.

Extent of tree cover: Heavily treed all around.

Degree of levelness: Quite level, but relatively low to the water.

Number of level tent sites: 4 tentsites close to treed perimeter of open area.

North exposure: Trees.

East exposure: Trees.

South exposure: Trees.

West exposure: Trees.

General description: This is a "pokey-dark" campsite and earned the nick-name of the "Blair Witch" campsite. No scene in any direction.

Overall accessibility: Other than tight confines of the landing, its quite "accessible".
